As the photographer for Jeffery it was a bit fun and difficult for me. Jeffery's idea of happiness was the create a diploma and have someone receive it. The idea was great. As his model, he picked Robert. Hello! The guy is like close to 6 feet and I'm like 5"1. So I had to go my tip-toes to get a successful picture that Jeffery could use. Luckily the only thing I have to capture was Robert's hand. But other than that I really enjoyed being the photographer for someone other than myself.

Jeff Well

When I look at “The Flood Grave” my eyes go to the pile of dirt. Then looking down to the water filled grave. Once you look down at the grave you see all types of sea life, like starfish and all type of plants. I find it hard to believe that all this was down in 2 years and with over 60 photos. Every piece of this design was well placed together. This creates a good balance and beautiful background.
I picked “After- Invisible Man” because all the items in the room caught my attention. I like the way the light bulbs of the ceiling are all positioned and that they are all different shapes and sizes. If I had to guess I would say that the invisible man was the one on the green chair. But the invisible man is mostly likely the one sitting in the photograph.
I say that because if he where to turn on all the lights a person entering the room wouldn’t be able to see him. They would be blinded by the light therefore, the man would appear invisible. It is likely that the design was one the same way as “The Floored Grave”. By using photo montage the designer could place the dishes, man, clothing, lights, and the other items wherever his pleased.

Spring Upclose

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_9nmIhRfB3Io/RjiKHGINMII/AAAAAAAAABU/G5Lur38fYEM/s320/2005_12_8_2007_0501(024).JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5059946035859501186" />

My final project is about taking photos of flowers and leaves
close up. The subject itself is unusual and the light is creating a shadow. If I had to guess I would say that the light is coming from the right. Since the image is the brightest at the bottom right. It would make a interesting graphic design because one can not be sure what they are looking at. Is the subject some kind of flower or something else. But whatever it is the viewers will be intrigued by it.

Serenity

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_9nmIhRfB3Io/ReSpbVCH6MI/AAAAAAAAAAs/iZAnbds-rDM/s320/Serenity.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5036336570274670786" />

One of the best photos I’ve ever taken was a few years ago in Washington, D.C. It was a class trip and I was a chaperon. The tour had taken us to a Native American Museum. In front of the museum there was a fountain. The day I took this photo the temperature was over 90 degrees, and all I was thinking at that moment was to jump in that water. But I also thought how beautiful and peaceful it looked. So I took a picture of it so I could always remember that day and the feeling behind it.

Yukio Uzaki

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_9nmIhRfB3Io/ReSo9FCH6LI/AAAAAAAAAAc/1i-VheuWkB8/s320/l198130600002.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5036336050583627954" />
I think Yukio Uzaki by Yousef Karsh is a excellent example on how light can be used to describe a subject. The light on the man to the left show a rim light. The rim light make a halo appear on the subject's jacket. Giving him a kind of heavenly feeling. The young woman behind him is covered in shadows. Her face is not completely covered in shadows, you can still make her out. This concept adds a bit of mystery to her. I think Mr. Karsh techniques are one to pay attention too.

Monkey Bars

I decided to put this picture because a few years ago the City decided to redecorate the park in my neighbor. I had decide to take a picture of the park so I could remember what it once looked liked, before it was changed forever. The park was changed a few months after I took the photo. The entire park was changed but one thing, the monkey bars. For some reason that old monkey bar set is still around. I guess old thing aren’t so bad to keep around after all.
