Being the Photographer

In your Happiness 101 project, I was a photographer and an art director. As the photographer for Jeffery it was a bit fun and difficult for me. Jeffery's idea of happiness was the create a diploma and have someone receive it. The idea was great. As his model, he picked Robert. Hello! The guy is like close to 6 feet and I'm like 5"1. So I had to go my tip-toes to get a successful picture that Jeffery could use. Luckily the only thing I have to capture was Robert's hand. But other than that I really enjoyed being the photographer for someone other than myself.

When I look at “The Flood Grave” my eyes go to the pile of dirt. Then looking down to the water filled grave. Once you look down at the grave you see all types of sea life, like starfish and all type of plants. I find it hard to believe that all this was down in 2 years and with over 60 photos. Every piece of this design was well placed together. This creates a good balance and beautiful background.
I picked “After- Invisible Man” because all the items in the room caught my attention. I like the way the light bulbs of the ceiling are all positioned and that they are all different shapes and sizes. If I had to guess I would say that the invisible man was the one on the green chair. But the invisible man is mostly likely the one sitting in the photograph.
I say that because if he where to turn on all the lights a person entering the room wouldn’t be able to see him. They would be blinded by the light therefore, the man would appear invisible. It is likely that the design was one the same way as “The Floored Grave”. By using photo montage the designer could place the dishes, man, clothing, lights, and the other items wherever his pleased.

Spring Upclose

My final project is about taking photos of flowers and leaves
close up. The goal is to show the different patterns,textures and
colors each plant has. I believe that this is my best photo because
the of the way the flower is shaped andthe position the flower is in.
I like the way the flower is against the leaves. It makes for a good contrast.

Happiness Picture

I think this is one of the best photos taken because of the expression on her face. Even if the book is upside down it only adds to the message. That she is happy, no matter what's happening.

Lounge

1) Items: Camcorder and person.
Idea: Show a person using the camcorder, capturing friends or something.

2) Item: Flash card
Idea: Showing data being transfored into the computer.

Happiness 101

1) Items: A paint brush and palette.
Idea: A person is showing and creating art work.

2) Items: A pad and pencil.
Idea: A created a wall or design they have drawn on their pad.

First Place

The photo is a bit funny and scary at the same time. The bride looks a bit depressed. I guess I would too if I were marrying the elephant man. He sort of remains me of what MichaelMyers would looks like without the mask. The dark background makes the photo even more dramatic and makes the couple stand out even better. Her white dress makes for a very good contrast. I think that this photo was well executed.
